Matt Wright, President
Matthew Wright is currently the Senior Director of Fitness at Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness based out of Glastonbury, CT. With 10+ years of experience in the Health and Fitness industry, he has held a variety of roles including: Personal Trainer, Personal Training Director, General Manager, and Business Consultant.
Matthew earned his M.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport & Exercise Psychology and a Minor in Leadership & Management from Temple University and a B.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Movement Science from Penn State University. Before moving to New England in 2013, Matt was also an adjunct professor at Rowan University in New Jersey teaching: Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology.

Joe Colotti has been in the Fitness and Performance industry since 2004. Joe joined the NEHRSA Board of Directors in 2014 and served as the Vice President in 2015. While working with the Executive, Joe became the Genavix Fitness Master with the Genavix Wellness Network, designing turn-key fitness and wellness programs to help reduce members modifiable risk factors, increase fitness and nutrition services for the club and establish preventable care programs to meet the demand of the evolving healthcare and fitness industries.No matter who Joe is training or educating, he is able to provide insight to help you understand the right training progression and programming for your ability and personal goals. Angela is currently the Administrative and Operations Manager at Commonwealth Sports Club in Boston MA. She moved back to Boston after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies at James Madison University. Angela began working at Commonwealth Sports Club in 2010 as a front desk associate and the rest as they say, is history. With her position now, Angela has the opportunity to be involved in each aspect of the business, from sales and marketing to program development and implementation. Having started at the front desk, her focus though has always been on the member experience. From the minute they walk in the door to even after they leave, she wants every person to feel as though they are part of CSC’s community.
Matt Hussey has been in the fitness industry for over 32 years. Hired by The Works Athletic Club back in 1984 as a fitness instructor, he soon became an “Aerobics”instructor within the first year. After 2 years he became the Group Exercise Manager and the Fitness Manager. Matt was responsible for designing and implimenting the new Cardio/Strength training area in the club at the time. In 1989 Matt left The Works full time to pursue a personal training business. He was also hired by Health Fitness Corporation to manage a corporate wellnes/ fitness site for theGeneral Electric Company. In 1999, Matt went back to The Works Family Health & Fitness Center full time as the Operations Manager. Over the years he has taken on the Food & Beverage & Pro Shop departments. He also oversees the mid level managers and runs the Service Desk. His current title has changed to the Member Services Manager where Matt has added the Environmental Services department to his responsibilities. Matt is an avid racquetball player and former State Champion. He joined the NEHRSA Board of Directors in 2015 and has a BS degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Business Management & Physical Education from Plymouth State College.

Zack is the General Manager at Orchard Hills Athletic Club in Lancaster, MA. Zack joined the Orchard Hills team in 2007 in kids programs, since then he has worked in every department in the facility. This experience has taught him how to best lead the team at Orchard Hills and provide an experience the members deserve.

Jason O’Tash joined Healthtrax in 2007 where he exceeded expectations and proactively assumed added responsibilities to fill needs as they occurred. Jason is currently the General Manager of the Healthtrax facility in Newington, CT and has held this position since June of 2014. Jason graduated from the IHRSA Institute at the University of North Caroline at Chapel Hill having received executive level education specifically geared to the fitness industry and was named one of IHRSA’s 2017 Rising Stars.
Jason earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Exercise Science from Springfield College and he authored an article, “Tough Skin” which was published in March 2011 NEHRSA e-news.

Mike Anderson has a B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and has been working in the fitness industry for over 20 years. After two years of working in club operations at Le Pli Health Club & Spa in Cambridge, Mike decided to pursue personal training as a full time career and spent the next six years training people of all shapes, sizes and ages. His fitness class clients ranged from pre-teens with cancer to athletes to people in their 80s. It was during this time that Mike began experimenting with the sport of triathlon, competing in his first sprint triathlon in the mid 90s. He has since completed over a dozen distance triathlons, including 3 Ironman triathlons.

Adam Healy is the General Manager of the Waverley Oaks Athletic Club. He was hired in April 2014 to help the club go through a complete transformation of the facility and all of the services that were being offered. Since then, Adam has assembled a team that has doubled the membership base and increased programming revenues by 600%. Throughout this rapid growth Adam continues to coach his staff on the core philosophy that the member experience MUST go beyond what is expected.
Adam was on the Board of Directors from 2010-2014 and served as President. He has spoken at both IHRSA and NEHRSA events on topics related to club management, sales and marketing, creating culture in your organization and effective youth programming. Adam has returned to the NEHRSA Board to spread his passion for collaboration of ideas so that every club in New England can be great!
